| Change of Elective / Course |
- Change in Elective / Course is permitted on payment of Rs.150/- for 4 Credit Course and Rs.300/- for 8 credit course by a Demand Draft drawn in favour of IGNOU Payable at New Delhi.
- The change is permitted only if the request alongwith the required payment is received by 15th February in case of January session and 16th August in case of July session.
- The request for change of Elective / Course should be addressed to SR&E Division, IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi – 110068.

| Change of Medium |
- Change of Medium is permitted of Rs.100/- by a Demand Draft drawn in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi
- If the request is received by 15th February in case of admissions done for January session and 16th August in case of admissions done for July Session.
- The student is required to return the study material already received to Deputy Director (MPDD) by registered post or in person alongwith the request for change of Medium.
- The request for change of medium should be addressed to SRE&E Division, IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi -110068.

| Change of Programme |
- Change of Programme from BA to BCom / BTS or BCom to BA / BTS or BSc to BA / BCom is permitted only in the first year of study on payment of Rs.300/- by way of Demand Draft.
- If the request is received by 15th February in case of admissions done for January session and 16th August in case of admissions done for July session.
- For change of Programme from BA / BCom to BTS, the student will be required to pay the difference of fee in addition to Rs.300/- stated above.
- The student is required to return the study material already received by Deputy Director (MPDD) by registered post or in person alongwith the request for change of Programme.
- NO change is permitted from BA / BCom to B.Sc Programme or among any other programmes.
- The request for change of programme should be addressed to SR&E Division, IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi – 110068.

Correction of Address & Study Centres
Change of Address & Study Centres |
- There is a printed card for change / correction of address and change of Study Centre which is dispatched along with the study material. In case there is any correction / change in the address it to SR&E Division, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi – 110 068.
- There are advised not to write letters to any other officer in the University in this regard. Normally, it takes 4-6 weeks to effect the change. Therefore, the learners are advised to make their own arrangements to redirect the mail to the changed address during this period.
- In case a change of Study Centre is desired, the learners are advised to fill the proforma and address it to the Regional Centre concerned. Counseling facilities are not available for all the Programmes at all the centres. As such, learners are advised to make sure that counseling facilities are available for the subject he / she has chosen, at the new centre opted for.
- Request for change of Study Centres is normally granted subject to availability of seat for the programme at the new centre asked for. Change of Address and Study Centre is not permitted until admissions are finalized.
- There is no provision of change of Programme Study Centre for PGDMCH Programme and B.Ed. Programme (except spouse / Ward of Defence / Air force / Kendriya Vidhyalaya Personnels). Even if one is in Central Government Service and is transferred, he /she will have to complete the PSC activities at the allotted PSC. But the SDC allotment can be changed and nearest SDC allotted.
- Similarly, change of Study Centre is not permissible in programmes where practical components are involved. For CIC / BCA / MCA students of Delhi Region, Study Centres will be allotted as per availability of seats therefore Study Centre once allotted will not be changed.

| Change of Region |
- A learner wants transfer from one region to another, he / she has to write to that effect to the Regional Centre from where he / she is seeking a transfer marking copies to the Regional Centre where he / she would like to transferred to. Further, he / she has to obtain a certificate from the Coordinator of the Study Centre from where he / she is seeking transfer from regarding the number of assignments submitted.
- The Regional Director from where the learner is seeking the transfer will transfer all records including details of fee payment to the Regional Centre where the learner is going to under intimation to the Director, SR&E Division and the learner.
- For change of Region in Computer Programmes, NOC is to be obtained from the concerned Regional Centre where the learner wishes his / her transfer.
- No transfer of Programme Study Centre is allowed for PGDMCH / PGDHHM / BSc(N) Programme.
